Education has always been an integral part of my life. I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wesleyan University and began my career teaching middle school English and history for three years. While I loved classroom teaching, I found I was most inspired when working one-on-one with students, which led me to transition into private tutoring. In addition to my classroom experience, I have provided homeschool instruction, designing and teaching individualized curricula tailored to students’ academic needs, learning styles, and goals.
To best support the students I work with, I became a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach through the Coaches Training Institute in 2015. I also completed Landmark College’s Certificate in Learning Differences and Neurodiversity, with a concentration in Executive Function, in 2025. In addition, I received a 200-hour meditation teacher-training certification through the Radiance School of Meditation, allowing me to integrate mindfulness-based practices into my work with students. In total, I have over 15 years of experience helping young adults navigate school, learning challenges, and stress. My work with students encourages skills for self-advocacy, organization, and self-confidence.
